Buy books, help Canyon Hills Library – Orange County Register

Learn about health services for seniors

Seniors may find the Anaheim Library’s upcoming virtual presentation “Keeping Healthy with Preventative Medicare Services” especially informative and helpful.

The virtual event is scheduled to start at noon on January 24 and there is no charge to attend.

The online workshop will provide an overview of the various preventative treatment services available to seniors that are covered by Medicare. Many may be unaware of what is available. There are many preventative examinations, injections, tests, screenings, counseling and education which, in many cases, are offered free of charge.

This one-hour workshop will explain these benefits to you.

For those interested in learning more about these services, access the meeting link at: https://tinyurl.com/2p88cctk or contact Adult Librarian Lisa Weber at lweber@anaheim.net for more information regarding the meeting Zoom.

Talk about books with other adults
